SPV Type
Model 1 Control valve assembly with small area : 1 mm (± 0.5 mm), Model 2: Control valve assembly with large dead zone: 5 mm (±2.5 mm), e.g. for use in the dry section.
Both types have an operating range of ±18°. This range corresponds to an operating range of approx. +65 mm at the recommended contact point on the edge of the belt.
Uses
The mechanical-pneumatic edge sensor SPV Type is only to be used
in conjunction with pneumatic actuators. It acquires the position of the edge of felt/wire belts in paper machines.
